This is Yossi Alfi’s eighth book of poems.

In his poetry he turns to the social person and returns to the private and lonely.

going far away,

But he is still looking within himself for answers to his past and signs for the future.

Looking at the present and existing as a child and observing himself from the distance of time.

Travel songs and road songs are always part of the search for its origins:

I went out with my body

to look for thorns in foreign languages

And I did not find a compromise

for love
